Lead Auditor FAQ
ISO 9001 is becoming a pre-requisite for an ever-increasing number of state and federal government departments both within Australia and overseas. For importers and exporters it is becoming an essential gauge of an established and reliable supplier. More and more governments overseas are using ISO 9001 as a form of regulation for importers.
ISO 9001 is the basis for many industry standards, such as NDIS, National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) Almost any and every type of business, from general manufacturing to flight training schools to accountancies and training organisations can become ISO 9001 certified.
We will teach you how to conduct an audit using actual checklists from ISO 9001:2015.
All of our training is based on a structured class discussion. We keep our class sizes small and drive healthy class discussion to keep you awake and to keep it relevant. It means you can get lots of real life examples from us and your classmates that you can use when you get back to work.
There is plenty of time to ask specific questions about your business.
National Recognition:
Once all assessments are successfully completed, participants receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for the following units of 
competency:
BSBAUD511: Initiate quality audits
BSBAUD512: Lead quality audits
BSBAUD513: Report on quality audits
Global Recognition – Exemplar Global
At QMS Audits, we have deliberately chosen the Exemplar Global RTP accreditation program as it offers the most value to our students.
Obviously our certificates are still recognised by Exemplar Global and we continue to pay a licence fee for each student upon their course completion.
As part of the RTP system, each student receives:
- Training certificate, recognised by Exemplar Global
- Complementary Work Styles Assessments (worth approx $150 per student)
- 12 month subscription to Exemplar Global’s resource portal, including online events, resources and job posts. Students can continue to renew this subscription at the end of the 12 months.
This course is for students who are looking to become Lead Auditors to conduct quality management system audits in ISO 9001, NDIS and National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR). As this course includes ISO 9001 and ISO 19011, it is suitable for other auditing other government programs. We recommend contacting each regulator specifically to confirm the program’s requirements.
There are no prerequisites for our Lead Auditor Course.
